🔻Diesel prices in France set a new record again. According to Agence France-Presse, the average price per liter of diesel this morning local time reached €2.41 ($2.76) and surpassed the previous record set yesterday.

The war in the Middle East has disrupted oil supply worldwide.

Recently, after an attack on the East-West pipeline in Saudi Arabia, the prices of energy carriers rose again.

French President Emmanuel Macron, in a message on X on Friday, emphasized the importance of freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, the Bab el-Mandeb, and the Red Sea, and wrote that a naval blockade affects the lives of French people and that they feel it at gas stations, with fuel prices becoming “unbearable.”
