Donald Trump, the President of the United States, said at a joint meeting with the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly that after “constructive” talks between his envoys and mediators, “a great deal of momentum” has been created toward reaching an agreement with the Islamic Republic.

Trump said: “We will completely isolate the Islamic Republic financially. We hope they do the right thing quickly, before it’s too late.”

The U.S. president once again warned the Islamic Republic about an attack on the underground facility in Mount “Kalang Gazla.” He said: “We may be forced to blow up another one, namely Mount Kalang Gazla. Right now, we don’t see much activity there, but if we see it, we will blow it up immediately.”

Trump also emphasized that Washington will not allow Tehran to obtain nuclear weapons. He added: “In my view, this matter is already settled. At least this part of it, in my view, is over.”

The U.S. president also said that his decisions regarding the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program have nothing to do with the United States’ midterm elections.
