🔻For the first time today, men officially watched an Iranian women’s top-flight football match up close.
🔹A match between the women’s football teams Esteghlal and Naft Ghas Ilam was held at the Workers Stadium in Tehran, with the presence of male spectators; including Naserat Iran-Doust, a well-known former coach of Malavan, and the father of Maryam Iran-Doust, the head coach of Esteghlal.
🔹After the match, when Maryam Iran-Doust talked about her father and son’s presence in the stadium, she became emotional and choked up.
🔹Ali Tajerneya, chairman of Esteghlal’s board of directors, along with several other club managers, was also present at the stadium.
🔹Naserat Iran-Doust also expressed satisfaction with her daughter’s performance after the match.
