Gholamreza Nouri Qazlajeh, Minister of Agriculture Jihad, in response to a journalist’s question from the state-affiliated Students News Agency, said that Iran has not directly imported U.S.-produced goods, but has made purchases from international companies that have American shareholders.

He explained that part of Iran’s funds that are frozen in foreign banks can be used, provided that food is bought from these companies.

Nouri Qazlajeh added that this route is a way to use Iran’s blocked resources and said he considers continuing the actions of the previous government in this regard to be correct.
