🔻Hojjat Karimi, the managing director of Tractor, said in an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Broadcasting (IRIB) last night about the status of Alireza Beiranvand’s mandatory service (military service), the national team goalkeeper of this team: “Whatever the law decides, we are obedient to it and the same will happen. For now, the legal time has not passed and we have a deadline. We have until the end of Mehr.”
🔹He said: “Beiranvand has not, for now, terminated his contract with us and he is with us. For now, he is not a conscript; from one column to another it is ‘relief.’ We are following up on Beiranvand’s case.”
🔹The Tractor managing director said: “Many of the players and officials in the league are conscripts. Go and check how the other players have obtained exemptions and are playing in the league.”
🔹He said: “But right at the moment when we have a match with Persepolis, these reports come out so as to deal a blow to Tractor. We have time. Beiranvand has made our people happy; why are they creating controversy for him?”
