The government’s board of the Islamic Republic, in response to a message by Mojtaba Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, announced that it will stand against sanctions and the “plots” of the United States and Israel and will advance diplomacy and defense simultaneously.

In its statement, the board wrote: “We consider the diplomatic arena and the defense arena as two complementary, coordinated, and inseparable wings for safeguarding national interests, security, and the country’s very existence, and we have this simultaneous and balanced pursuit of these two paths on our agenda.”

The statement also announced that controlling inflation, managing the market, creating jobs, supporting domestic production, and directing capital toward production are priorities of the fourteenth government.

The government’s board of the Islamic Republic added that the gradual reduction of dependence on the dollar is also on the agenda.
