🔻Increase in Iran and U.S. attacks; have the calculations on both sides changed?
✍Saeed Jafari, journalist
One day of attack, one day of calm; a cycle that has repeated multiple times in the tensions between Iran and the United States in the months after the understanding reached in Islamabad.
In recent weeks, the U.S. Army targeted several Iranian oil tankers. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) says the attacks were carried out in response to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ missile strikes toward U.S. warships. The IRGC also reported reciprocal attacks on American vessels and on bases of forces of this country in Jordan.
