🔻Iran Forensic Medicine: The file for identifying war dead has been closed

Iran’s Forensic Medicine has announced that no unidentified war dead remains in this organization.

Abbas Masjedi Arani, head of Iran’s Forensic Medicine Organization, said in announcing this that the process of handling cases of injured and people harmed in the war is still ongoing, and their files remain open at Forensic Medicine.

About a month earlier, the Iranian Martyrs Foundation had announced the number of identified deaths in the “Forty-Day War” as 3,166.

At the time, Forensic Medicine had said that this figure does not include people who were killed in attacks after the Iran–United States agreement, mainly in southern Iran.
