🔶 Pentagon: The cost of war with Iran has reached $43.6 billion

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a report to the congressional committees on national security that the cost of the war with Iran had reached $43 billion 600 million as of September 3.

This figure does not include the cost of repairing U.S. bases in the Middle East that were damaged or destroyed in Iranian attacks, and the actual cost of the war is likely higher.

The Pentagon estimates that since the start of U.S. strikes on February 28, 2026, at least $28 billion has been spent on munitions, including bombs and air-defense interceptor missiles. The U.S. Air Force has spent $6.6 billion, the Navy $2.2 billion, and the Army $1.6 billion.
