🔸Iran’s embassy in Kuwait announced a meeting between the ambassador of the Islamic Republic and four Iranian citizens who have been detained in Kuwait for about three months.

🔸According to a statement by the diplomatic mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kuwait, on Tuesday, 27 Mordad, Mohammad Tootonchi met with these four Iranians «with the assistance of Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Foreign Affairs».

🔸The Iranian embassy statement did not mention further details, but earlier reports had been published about the «captivity» of four Iranian military personnel in Kuwait during the Iran–U.S. war.

🔸Iran also accuses Doha of having three Iranian pilots whose aircraft were shot down by Qatari fighter jets. However, Qatar, while rejecting this claim, says it has no information about the fate of these three pilots. Previously, the remains of one of the four pilots from those two fighters had been returned to Iran.
