Trump: There is no negotiation with Iran underway, and no plans have been made
🔸Donald Trump, the president of the United States, announced on Tuesday, 27 Mordad, that no negotiations with Iran are underway and said that full maritime blockade of Iran’s ports has been put in place.
🔸In a message posted on the Truth Social network, he wrote: “There is no negotiation or dialogue underway with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and no negotiation or dialogue has been planned either.”
🔸On Monday, alongside the expiration of the two-month understanding signed by him and the president of Iran, Trump said that he has no intention of extending this understanding.
🔸Continuing his message, Trump wrote: “The maritime blockade remains fully in place and is being implemented. The Strait of Hormuz is open and activity is continuing in it.”
🔸He also reported that all sea mines deployed in this waterway have been “collected or detonated.”
🔸In recent weeks, and after the latest round of clashes with the United States in Tir, Iranian officials have repeatedly said that there will be no negotiations with Washington and have reported dialogue with Oman in order to reach an agreement regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
🔸However, the U.S. president the day before warned, in an interview with Fox News, that if Oman blocks U.S. actions during the conflict between the United States and Iran over the Strait of Hormuz, the United States would bomb that country.
