🔺 Iran’s ongoing maritime blockade; CENTCOM says it has diverted 70 commercial ships

The U.S. Central Command said the guided-missile destroyer USS John Finn is carrying out a maritime blockade against Iran in the Arabian Sea.

According to CENTCOM, by August 23 U.S. forces have diverted 70 commercial ships, disabled three vessels, and boarded two ships to ensure compliance with the restrictions.
