🔸 Iran’s parliament speaker emphasized the need for Iran’s conditions to be met; otherwise, according to him, there will be no “opening” for the Strait of Hormuz.

🔸 Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said on Sunday, 29 Shahrivar, in his pre-agenda remarks: “The transfer of messages and the clarification of our conditions through intermediaries has been done with clarity to the other side... And as long as these conditions are not met and the rightful rights of the Iranian people are recognized, and the Americans’ commitments are implemented, there will be no opening for returning to the previous conditions of negotiations and opening the Strait of Hormuz.”

🔸 Masoud Pezeshkian, president of Iran, has also recently stated that if the United States returns to the Islamabad agreement, Tehran is also willing to resume its commitments.

🔸 Since the Islamabad agreement effectively collapsed in Tir month, following the reciprocal attacks by Iran and the United States, the parties have so far been intermittently engaged in reciprocal military attacks against one another.
