🔶 IRGC reports arrest of 8 people in Sistan and Baluchestan province
The public relations office of the Quds Headquarters of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in a statement, announced that eight people associated with armed and “terrorist” groups were arrested in Sistan and Baluchestan province.
The IRGC has accused these individuals of “forming armed teams, taking steps to create insecurity and carrying out various counterintelligence actions, hostage-taking of forces and engineers active in the infrastructure sector in Sistan and Baluchestan, attacks on patrols and military and law enforcement bases, armed robberies, and creating fear and panic in the central areas of Sistan and Baluchestan province.”
The statement claims that “significant quantities of ammunition and a number of weapons” were found from these people.
The IRGC statement did not mention the location, time, or the identities of the arrested individuals.
