Saudi Arabia was essentially sitting on a wall. They previously had a defense agreement with Pakistan, but the moment they join with Turkey, which is in direct confrontation with us—and this confrontation could lead to very serious consequences both in the Mediterranean and in the Syrian front—this is a very, very bad development for us, for Israel.

This issue requires that we deepen our alliance with Greece and Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, and Somaliland.
