🔺“Khane-reez”; Tehran Municipality’s new plan for selling housing by the centimeter

◾In a situation where a sharp rise in housing prices has made buying a home difficult for a large part of Iran’s population—especially young people—Tehran Municipality has introduced a new plan called “Khane-reez,” under which individuals can, instead of buying an entire residential unit or even one square meter of it, purchase shares as small as one-hundredth of a square meter of a residential project.
