🔸The government of Luxembourg announced that, following the sighting of several unidentified and unauthorized drones in the sky over the country’s airport, investigations into this incident
🔸Flights at Luxembourg Airport on Friday evening, 27 Shahrivar, were temporarily suspended, and during that period 19 flights were diverted to other airports. Airport activity resumed at around 1:20 a.m. on Saturday.
🔸Luxembourg’s prime minister said his country has faced a “new phenomenon” in recent days, and drones—possibly larger than usual—have been sighted in the airspace of this country.
🔸The Luxembourg government says it is still not possible to reach a definitive conclusion about the origin or nature of these drones, and investigations are being carried out in cooperation with international partners
🔸The incident occurred while, in recent weeks, several European countries have faced the entry or the sighting of unidentified drones around airports and sensitive infrastructure.
