— Majed Al-Ansari, Qatar’s foreign ministry spokesperson, said Qatar is still consulting with Oman and Pakistan on steps to reduce tensions between the United States and Iran.

He warned that if the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz is not resolved for a longer period, it could lead to further escalation of tensions and harm all parties.

He said: “ We are working with our partners to reach a peaceful solution and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.”
