Maliika Kia Darbansari, the sister of Amir Kia Darbansari, one of those who were “jaavid-nameh” in the protests of Dey, died on Tuesday, 27 Mordad. Based on available information, after her brother was killed, she faced intense psychological pressures stemming from this loss.

In her last Instagram post on 18 Mordad, she had written to her brother: “I miss you calling you Amir so much, bro.”

Amir Kia Darbansari, a 29-year-old who lived in Tehran, was severely injured on the evening of 18 Dey during the protests in Rey when he was shot in the head and neck.

After being transferred to Firuzabadi Hospital, he died in the early hours of 19 Dey.
