Mehdi Bostanchi, head of the board of directors of the Air Conditioning Systems Manufacturers Association, announced a 10% to 25% increase in the prices of air conditioners and said that the price hikes have caused some consumers to choose cheaper options instead of air conditioners, such as fans and misting fans.

According to Bostanchi, the amount of the price increase for air conditioners varies depending on the brand, capacity, and technical specifications, and financial constraints facing households have increased demand for cheaper cooling appliances.
