🔶 Nazhat Mirrazi, mother of two victims of the 2021 and 2024 protests, was arrested

The news agency “Hraha” — the media outlet of the network of human rights activists in Iran — reported on Monday, 16 Shahrivar (7 September), that Nazhat Mirrazi, a resident of Rasht, was arrested by security forces in this city three days earlier, and that no information is currently available about where she is being held.

Based on information received by Hraha, security forces arrested Nazhat Mirrazi at her residential home in Rasht early on Friday, 13 Shahrivar (4 September). An informed source, confirming this report to Hraha, said: “Since her arrest, Ms. Mirrazi has had telephone contact with her family, but in these calls she has not mentioned where she is being held.”

Hraha also wrote that, as of the time the report was prepared, no information has been published about the reasons for Nazhat Mirrazi’s arrest, her place of detention, or the charges brought against her.
