North Korea has test-fired ballistic missiles for the second time in six days. South Korea and Japan have condemned the move, and Seoul has called for an immediate halt to launches that violate UN Security Council resolutions.
The launch was carried out days before the start of a joint South Korea–U.S. military exercise. At the same time, 40 countries have called for prior notification regarding the launch of some ballistic missiles and space launch vehicles.
