🔻Pezeshkian met with Pakistan’s interior minister
Masoud Pezeshkian met on Tuesday night in Tehran with Mohsen Naqvi, Pakistan’s interior minister.
According to the website of the Office of the President of Iran, the meeting emphasized “the expansion of economic and commercial, cultural, and security cooperation.”
Based on this report, the Iranian president expressed readiness “to develop joint cooperation in all areas” with Pakistan, and Mohsen Naqvi stressed the “importance of following up and operationalizing the agreements and understandings between the two countries.”
Mr. Naqvi has also met other Iranian officials in Tehran, including Abbas Araghchi and Mohsen Paknejad, the ministers of foreign affairs and oil.
Pakistan is the main mediator in talks between Iran and the United States.
