🔶 Pezeshkian: The best time for a deal is now

Masoud Pezeshkian, the president of Iran, says that with reference to the war and the current situation in this country, the Islamic Republic can pursue its rights and demands through dialogue in the current conditions.

Pezeshkian, on Saturday, 17 Mordad, at a press conference with reporters, and while referring to the situation of the country amid war and recent clashes with the United States, said that in his view, the current time is the best opportunity for an agreement with that country.

He added: “There is cohesion, strength and unity in the country, and to the extent that I know, they consider Iran to be victorious and powerful in this war and this confrontation.”

The head of the government of the fourteenth administration emphasized that in these conditions, the opposing sides should recognize Iran’s rights and ensure them.

Pezeshkian added that the Islamic Republic is not seeking anything other than its “right and the rights of the country and the people.”

The Iranian president also stated that existing issues are not resolved solely through war and that there are various factors that must be worked on.

He added that the government is trying to move forward along the path of peace and in accordance with the provisions of the memorandum of understanding.
