🔸A protest gathering by young people, “applicants for work in the villages of Muran and Ameisheh Bozorg,” in the district of سویسه (Sowiseh) of Ahvaz, faced the intervention of law enforcement forces in front of the sugarcane agro-industrial company of Dawla/Da’bel Khazai (Dabel Khaza’i).

🔸The gathering took place on Sunday, the 29th of Shahrivar, in protest of “the recruitment of non-native forces” and “lack of transparency in employment.”

🔸The images shared on social media show that law enforcement forces are pursuing the protesters with batons, and the sound of gunfire is also heard in some of the images.

🔸These job applicants also held a gathering on September 9 in front of the sugarcane agro-industrial company Dawla/Da’bel Khazai (Dabel Khaza’i), where law enforcement used stun batons (shocker) to disperse them.

🔸Reports published on social media indicate that the documents of about 200 protesters were taken, and they were supposed to be informed; however, last week they found out that the Dawla/Da’bel Khaza’i company had again hired non-native forces.

🔸It is said that some of the protesters were detained, their mobile phones were confiscated, and images were deleted.”
