Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday, 24 Mordad, in response to the claim by officials of the Iranian regime that three fighter pilots of the Islamic Republic’s Su-24 aircraft were being held in captivity, rejected the allegation outright in a statement published on the X social media network, confirming only having the body of one of the four pilots.

Regarding the transfer of the body of the Iranian pilot who was killed, Qatar’s government said that despite its repeated statements of readiness to hand over the body of this pilot to the Iranian regime, “we have not seen any cooperation from them.”

In this statement, a spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that it is prepared to cooperate in order to deliver the body of the killed pilot, or to form search teams to find any trace of the other three missing pilots.
