🔺Reuters: Saudi Arabia’s aim in creating defense alliances is to prevent the expansion of war in the region
▪Saudi Arabia, in response to the increase in attacks by the Islamic Republic and its proxy forces, is expanding regional defense alliances in order to, while strengthening its deterrence capabilities, prevent being pulled into a broader war it does not want. Saudi Arabia’s new defense agreement with Turkey and Pakistan and its efforts to form a multi-national naval alliance in the Red Sea are among the key parts of this strategy.
