Rouhollah Rahimpour, journalist and political analyst, said that by referring to U.S. attacks on the positions of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Larak Island, the likelihood of fighting resuming has increased, but under current conditions the probability of a broad, all-out war is low, and it may be that the cycle of “limited action and limited response” continues.
He added that the United States has changed its tactic from dealing with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz to a preemptive action aimed at preventing the strait from being closed.
