Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, accused the Islamic Republic of conducting missile and drone attacks against Kuwait, other Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and Jordan in his speech at the UN General Assembly.

The Crown Prince of Kuwait said these countries were not a party to the current conflict in the region, and that attacks against them are a clear violation of international law and the UN Charter.

He said the attacks repeatedly and in an organized manner targeted vital civilian and non-civilian infrastructure, including Kuwait International Airport, power and water facilities, and oil facilities, and led to the killing and injury of a number of people, as well as widespread economic and material damage.

The Crown Prince of Kuwait also accused the Iranian government of disrupting navigation and closing the Strait of Hormuz, using this waterway as a “bargaining chip in war,” harming global trade and oil markets.
