Simultaneous with the fourth anniversary of the killing of Mahsa Amini and the start of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, the University of Toronto hosts a gathering with the participation of academics, civil rights activists, and members of the Iranian community. In this event, the historical course of freedom-seeking struggles—from the establishment of the Islamic Republic to protests in recent years—is discussed.
Report by Mahsa Mortazavi, an Iran International correspondent, and an interview with one of the organizers
