The spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Republic, by announcing that the implementation of the so-called “Organizing and Expelling Afghan Nationals” has not been halted after the war, said that 200,000 “unauthorized Afghan nationals” have been deported since the beginning of this year.

Ali Zeyni-Vand stated that since the implementation of this plan in Farvardin 1404, about two million Afghan nationals have been deported.

He claimed that part of the expulsion of these nationals was carried out through self-reporting, and part was carried out through court orders.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Republic, saying that “Afghan nationals receive medical services and subsidies,” added: “Virtual/"in absentia" nationals present in the country must cover part of their cost of living.”
