Taleh Mohammadzadeh, a 40-year-old woman from Saqqez, was murdered on Thursday, 29 Mordad 1405, by her husband, Omid Fayzi, with more than 20 stab wounds. She worked as a driver at a phone taxi agency to cover the costs of her life and her child, and after the murder, her body was found near the village of Qarenao, about 20 kilometers from Saqqez. According to reports, in recent years Taleh had repeatedly been subjected to beatings, violence, and threats of murder by her husband, and she had a legal case against him. It was also reported that only two days before the murder, her husband appeared in front of the Saqqez court, severely beat her, and threatened to kill her. It is said that Omid Fayzi had been sentenced to prison for violence against Taleh, but he killed her only one day after the verdict was issued.
