🔶 Tehran prosecutor announced the issuance of an indictment in the Hezbollah pager explosions case

Mizan News Agency, affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Republic Judiciary, reported—citing the Tehran prosecutor—that the indictment in the case of the pager explosions operation involving the pagers used by Hezbollah Lebanon was issued at the Tehran Prosecutor’s Office.

According to this report, Ali Salih stated that the case was formed based on a complaint filed by Mojtaba Emani Hamadani, the former ambassador of the Islamic Republic to Beirut, and also based on the criminal charge announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs against seven Israeli officials, including Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of that country; following investigation and the issuance of the indictment, it was sent to court.

The Tehran prosecutor further claimed: “The defendants in this case were pursued for the charge of corruption on earth through intentionally causing bodily harm, attempted intentional murder, and destruction and disruption of property and interfering with public services by using computer and telecommunication systems in the country of Lebanon.”
