The aircraft carrier “USS George Washington,” as part of the operations of the U.S. Navy’s Seventh Fleet, transited through the Singapore and Malacca straits.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, citing U.S. officials, reported that the United States is preparing to send this carrier to the Middle East in order to replace the aircraft carrier “USS Abraham Lincoln” as part of a previously determined plan for repositioning carriers.
