The life cycle of the International Space Station (ISS) will be extended until 2030, but this will not affect the timeline for creating the Russian Orbital Station (ROS), Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Bakanov said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"Our American colleagues approached us - given that the International Space Station currently consists of two segments, Russian and American - with a request for keeping the ISS in operation from 2028 to 2030. We agreed and will extend the operation of the International Space Station by another two years," he said.
