The Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar held a telephone call with their Kuwaiti counterpart, and the two sides discussed diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and strengthen regional security.
According to Qatar Tribune, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah discussed the latest regional developments, and in particular the joint coordination to reduce tension and increase security and stability in the region.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran on Thursday. During this trip, he said he emphasized the importance of returning to the situation prior to the war in the free navigation of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
