The U.S. Department of Justice, in a statement, announced that a 14-count supplemental indictment against 17 members of the “Mabna Institute,” a company based in Iran, was declassified on Tuesday, the 27th of Mordad.

According to the indictment, the Mabna Institute has carried out, at least since 2013, a coordinated cyber-infiltration campaign targeting the computer systems of 144 universities in the United States, 178 foreign universities, at least 42 U.S. private companies, at least 11 foreign private companies, at least five federal and state government bodies in the United States, and at least two non-governmental organizations.
