Tami Pequot, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, said that a “major delegation from the Iranian regime” will be allowed to attend the “high-level segment of the United Nations General Assembly” in New York.
However, according to this U.S. official, the delegation will be subject to “travel restrictions.” In addition, under current U.S. regulations, the purchase of luxury goods and other goods is prohibited for members of the delegation of the Islamic Republic.
