Three trackable commercial vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, showing a decrease compared to four vessels that passed on Monday and an average of about 15 vessels over 10 days.

According to Reuters, based on preliminary data from the firm Kpler, all three vessels were leaving the strait. These figures are not final and reliable because many vessels along the route switch off their transmitters.

The U.S. government says its Navy passes dozens of vessels through the strait at night, and many of these movements are not recorded in commercial tracking systems. U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright had said that up to 15 million barrels of oil are removed from the Middle East each day.
