Mehrdad Qarvani’s mother, one of those killed in the 1401 protests, decorated the place where he was killed with flowers on the fourth anniversary of her son. Mehrdad’s sister, by posting this video, wrote: “Mehrdad’s blood will be a guiding light for our lives.”

Mehrdad Qarvani, 18, was killed on September 30, 1401, by gunfire from government forces in Zanjan.
