👈 Trump: South Korea did not agree to join us in the disarmament of Iran

Given the very good relationship I have with Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, I was not satisfied with the fact that the United States, long ago, had agreed to participate in joint military exercises with South Korea.

These exercises are not only costly, and much of the cost is, as usual, paid by the United States of America, but they also send a completely inappropriate and hostile message to a country that, as long as Donald J. Trump has been president, has posed no threat and has behaved respectfully.

Therefore, since it was too late to cancel the exercises, I instructed Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of War, to significantly reduce the joint military exercises.

In a matter that may not be very related, I recently asked the president of South Korea whether he would like to join us in the nuclear disarmament of the Islamic Republic of Iran? They said, “No, thank you!”
