🔻Trump to Zelensky: Do not attack oil facilities in Russia
Donald Trump said that Volodymyr Zelensky should stop targeting fuel oil facilities in Russia.
He called the Ukrainian president the cause of fuel shortages, not the war in the Middle East.
The average price of diesel in the United States crossed for the first time the threshold of six dollars per gallon last Thursday.
The Ukrainian army announced that last night it targeted two more oil refineries in Russia; one in the south and the other about 900 kilometers east of Moscow.
Ukraine’s attacks on Russia’s oil facilities have caused fuel shortages in many parts of that country.
Recent developments in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea, in addition to the increased insecurity for shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, have raised concerns about fuel supply around the world.
