U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has released a video of a nighttime flight operation on the deck of the aircraft carrier USS “George Washington” in the Arabian Sea.

CENTCOM says these images show American sailors during the nighttime flight operations as the carrier is underway in the Arabian Sea.

The release of these images comes as military tensions between the United States and Iran continue, and U.S. forces have had a wide presence in the waters of the region in recent months.

Since July, the United States has carried out several rounds of attacks on military targets in Iran and, at the same time, has imposed restrictions on the movement of ships to Iranian ports. CENTCOM has also, in recent weeks, repeatedly published images of the activities of U.S. aircraft carriers and military aircraft in the Arabian Sea and the area under its command.
