🔻U.S. Central Command, CENTCOM, says that by Friday 6 Shahrivar/28 August, its forces, as part of carrying out Iran’s blockade, have rerouted the routes of 82 commercial vessels, disabled three ships, and inspected two ships.

CENTCOM released these figures together with an image of an American sailor on the deck of the destroyer “USS John Paul Jones” and said that this ship is carrying out a blockade against Iran in the regional waters.

The report was published while the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that control of the Strait of Hormuz is “completely firm” in Iran’s hands and that ships that intend to pass without coordination with the Islamic Republic will not be allowed to transit.
