The UK Maritime Trade Operations organization reported that an unidentified projectile struck an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to this report, the incident occurred on Saturday, 7 Shahrivar, at a distance of 12 nautical miles north of Khasab in Oman. A statement regarding the attack was released on Sunday, 8 Shahrivar, by military authorities.
