US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, said on Tuesday, September 31, about the talks between Iran and the United States: «I don’t want to describe yesterday’s talks as a major breakthrough, but at the same time I think it was important that at least a dialogue took place.»

In another part of his remarks, he said: «Iranians and their proxy forces attacked diplomatic locations, an unprecedented action. They bombarded our embassy in Kuwait.»

Rubio added: «Everything in the Middle East comes back to the evil forces tied to the Islamic Republic.»

He also said: «I think the Iranians have the notion that the Democrats will win in November and that Trump will no longer be able to take action against them. I don’t think they have understood us well.»
