Widespread anger and protests erupted in Baghdad, Iraq, after a 15-year-old teenager, said to have been tortured and killed, was murdered for criticizing the Iranian regime on Facebook.

According to reports, the teenager was attacked in the neighborhood of “Al-Baladiyat” and was killed by one of the members of a militia group linked to the Iranian regime.

The incident sparked a great deal of anger, and some believe that this crime may be the beginning of a widespread uprising against Iran’s influence and the militia groups associated with it in Iraq, and could even be a sign of the end of Iran’s influence in this country
