🔻Yemen’s government: Houthi missile attack on Mokha port kills at least four civilians
Yemen’s internationally recognized government says that the Houthis fired six ballistic missiles at Mokha port in the Red Sea on Friday, as a result of which at least four civilians were killed.
Government-linked forces said that the attack targeted civilian infrastructure and port facilities, and that several fishing boats were also set on fire.
The Houthis, for their part, say they targeted military gatherings, the weapons and vessels of forces backed by Saudi Arabia in Mokha with a large number of ballistic missiles.
In a separate development, the Houthi-affiliated Saba news agency, citing a military source, reported that the group targeted an Aramco facility in the city of Najran in Saudi Arabia with a drone.
These developments come as the war between the United States and Israel with Iran has fueled increased regional tensions and raised the risk of a return to widespread fighting in Yemen.
