🔹From Qayemdasht: For a while now I’ve had severe pain in my knees and legs, so bad that when I sit down, I can barely stand up. I went to a doctor; he said it’s because of a lack of vitamins and protein and recommended that I eat fruits and strong protein-rich foods. With what money and income? Damn this injustice and oppression.

🔹Yesterday I went to a clinic because I caught a cold, and even though I had health insurance, I paid 4,600,000 tomans for the doctor’s visit, and for the injections, medicine, and drips. Even insurance companies have limited what they cover.

🔹For a few years now I’ve had back pain. Yesterday I finally went to a doctor; the cost of the nerve test for the lower back, the visit, and the round trip—without buying any injections or medicine and without physiotherapy sessions—came to 7 million tomans. The doctor prescribed a lot of medication for me, and the 10 physiotherapy sessions cost another about 15 million tomans.

🔹From Rasht: In the Rasht entrance, Imamzadeh Hashem, they’ve set up a checkpoint. They stop cars without any reason, make you turn around, and tell you that you yourself have to open the trunk so they can check it. I opened the dashboard area; they kept me waiting for an hour for a simple pill, and in the end they searched on Google and let me go.

🔹Negligence in the University of Zabol is rampant; from moving boys and girls dorm residents together without any reason, to the lack of fumigation in the dorms, and the appearance of rats, lizards, scorpions, and worse—poisonous snakes.

🔹People’s income has dropped a lot, and rising prices have broken families’ backs. Many people can’t afford even the necessities of daily life. Prices go up every day, but people’s income hasn’t changed. Many families have trouble with even their daily expenses.

🔹We’re in the south, I swear—on Tuesday at 2 p.m., a boy and his two sisters were knocking on the doors of all houses and looking for the fourth-grade textbook. They weren’t looking for money or food. They were only looking for a book.

🔹From Fardis, Karaj: The situation of expensive prices and poverty is very bad. My husband has diabetes; we can’t make ends meet with the costs of his medicines and the cost of living. The motor in the second quarter of my refrigerator burned out and the repair cost was 40 million tomans. Now the same problem has happened again.

🔹From Bomhen: The police here harass people with different excuses, causing them trouble and making things unbearable. A few weeks ago, under the pretext of the anniversary of the fight against illegal drugs, they were arresting everyone, taking one million tomans from them for the lab test, and then releasing them.
