A diplomatic adviser to the UAE president said the situation of “neither war nor peace” cannot be a lasting solution, and the policy of targeting the Gulf Arab countries and Jordan has proven its own failure.
Anwar Gargash wrote on Monday on the X network that what is now needed is realistic and sustainable political solutions that take into account the political and economic dimensions of the crisis.
He called for an end to the escalation of tensions, the return of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz to normal conditions, and the pursuit of sustainable political solutions.
Based on what he wrote, such a solution should begin with overcoming tensions and the return of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz to normal conditions, and then move toward a more realistic approach that goes beyond an agreement that failed to draw up an operational and more acceptable roadmap.
